Rusty tin metal candle holder can do double duty. The upper well is removeable and will accommodate a taper with a base of 3/4" or slightly larger. When the upper well is removed, the lower well can hold a candle of about 7/8" in diameter. The holder measures 4 3/4" across at the diameter of the base and about 2" tall. Either way it's a great look.
This candle holder is genuinely rusty so please keep that in mind when planning for a place for it; you'll want to protect your linens and your furniture from rusty residue.
Your holder may look slightly different from the one in the photo -- while the style of each holder is identical, some of the ones that arrived here are less or more rusty and the black spattering is done by hand so the black spotty areas differ from piece to piece. All in all, a very nice primitive item.
