Darling little candle lamp is made to look as if it's created from a small vintage drawer.
The base is molded from resin, painted black and shaded to resemble a beaten and battered drawer. It measures about 4 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" long and about 2 1/2" deep. The drawer is highly distressed looking complete with chipped and worn corners.
The lamp has a drip-look shaft extending upward from the base. The overall height is approximately 5 1/2" (measurement does not include the bulb.) The lamp has a black cord with an on/off switch and polarized plug.
The coolest thing about this little lamp is the place in the front of the base where the labels go. A 1 1/2" by 9/16" opening with a slot at the top allows for the changing of the labels to fit your mood. There are 6 paper labels that come with the lamp -- Blessings, Dreams, Simplify, Believe, Wishes and Prayers.
If you want to personalize it I see no reason why additional labels couldn't be made with any printer. For Halloween, Boo would be a good one. For Thanksgiving, how about Grateful? If I were to make one for my husband's end table I'd print out Old Grouch or Mr. Grumpy. Sisters, friends... and the list of possibilities goes on. The well of the lamp is deep enough to hold decorative holiday fillers too -- pine and pine cones over the winter or wool felt strawberries in summer come to mind.
