New with tag, cute little shade from Darice measures 5 inches high and a tad over 5 1/2 inches in diameter at the base of the shade.
Underneath the fabric is a sturdy metal frame. The fabric on this one is a coarsely woven texture, it's definitely red but I'd have to call it faded or softly grayed red. Please keep in mind that colors in photos may vary when viewed on different systems. The shade is fully lined with a matching red fabric that I'm guessing is polyester.
This shade is manufactured as an accessory to Darice Candle Lamp #6203-03 but will fit other candle lamps. Although the wire clip on this is large enough to accommodate a chandelier bulb, for proper safety using this shade with a bulb higher than 7 watts is not recommended.
