New in package from Darice, 20 bright LED teeny bulbs, battery operated with a green cord. These teeny bulbs are a bit different than Darice's other teeny bulbs; these bulbs are LED and are round with flat tops and are about 5mm in diameter. The battery pack requires 3 AA batteries (which are NOT included.)
The lighted length is about 9 feet with another 10 inches or so of lead to the battery pack. This pack has a push button switch. Push the button once and the bulbs burn steady -- push it again and the whole string flashes on and off. The next push turns the set off again. By the way, the switch looks like it moves back and forth (see photo.) The on/off label on the battery pack is misleading. The switch does not move sideways. It's a tiny push button mechanism.
The LED lights appear clear but they're a brightly colored mix of blue, green, yellow and red when they're lit.
LED lights take less energy than regular bulbs and Darice suggests that this LED light set will stay lit for approximately 200 hours on 3 alkaline batteries. For indoor use only.
