Candle holder tray measures 16 inches long, 6-3/4 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches in depth. It has a wooden feel to it but I'm pretty sure that it's made from some type of resin compound. It's not molded in one piece however; there are nail holes along the bottom and sides. The candle cups feel like real wood though.
It's a creamy tan color with darker tan stars printed on the sides. The cups will accommodate tapers of about 3/4 of an inch in diameter.
This tray is brand new but manufactured to appear as if it's been around for a long long time. The finish on it is rough and appears bubbled and peeling allowing some of the darker tan color underneath to show through.
It's a nicely done Colonial primitive piece that can easily serve as a table centerpiece through the entire year. Fill with pine cones for the winter holidays and perhaps something like small rag balls and buttons for everday decorating.
The triple candle tray comes new, untagged but I'm fairly sure it's The Hearthside Collection.
