Colonial style electric candle lamp with a fluted metal base, a nice little addition to a primitive decor.
The lamp measures about 6" tall (bulb is included in the measurement.) The base is made of lightweight metal and measures 5" in diameter at the widest. The well of the base is a little less than 1" but deep enough to hold some rose hips, fixins or a pip berry ring.
Darice calls the finish on the base 'antique pewter.' It's not genuine, of course, but it is indeed finished well to resemble old pewter. The metal has a dull silvertone finish and a darker gray overcoat accents the irregularities in the metal which gives it that somewhat 'pitted' appearance that real pewter has.
The candle lamp has drip-look taper shaft and a cream colored cord with an on/off switch and a polarized plug. A silicone tipped bulb is included. As a general rule it is recommended that candle lamp replacement bulbs should be no higher than 7 watts. The lamp comes new, made in China and distributed by Darice.
