For use with Darice's battery operated LED taper candles, this spiral holder is crafted from heavy duty black wire. It stands about 2 3/4 inches high and the base is 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
Darice makes this one for use specifically with its own brand of LED taper candles, for instance item 6203-04 which are their plain white ones without the wax dip. This holder does NOT fit any of the grungy Hearthside battery candles which we carry; it's not large enough to fit the taper shaft.
In fact, it's a very snug fit for the plain Darice tapers. Ya gotta give it a bit of effort to push the taper down into it but once it's there, it's an absolutely perfect fit. The spiral has an inside diameter of about 3/4 of an inch so please measure first to be sure that your battery candles will fit.
The holder will also fit many wax tavern tapers but use it for decorative purposes only since there ain't no place for the wax to go but down right onto the furniture. ;)
