Set of 3 rusty mesh miniature baskets for autumn decorating.
Each little basket measures about 4 inches long by 3 inches wide (or about 6 3/4 inches long when the handle is included in the measurement.) The tops of the baskets are attached to oval shaped heavy duty rust wire and the bottoms of each basket are simply formed by the mesh being folded and pressed. Each basket features a painted tin leaf in the assortment shown in our photo.
These won't lie flat against a wall unless the nail sticks out a bit more than an inch but I think they'd look very nice on pegs or on a kitchen tree. Fill them with acorns, potpourri or drieds along with a couple of short skinny tapers. I'm thinking about putting a set on my own kitchen tree and requiring that the kids and the husband pest fill them with dollar bills as they walk by. ;)
This set of 3 rusty mesh miniature metal baskets comes new with tag, an Audrey's product.
(By the way, it appears that the heavier wire at the top of the basket and the handle might be truly rusted but it's my best guess that the mesh is either painted brown or maybe thinly plastic-coated in a rusty brown color. That's the way it feels and it doesn't flake or shed rusty dust so I'm thinkin' that the mesh isn't genuinely rusted.)
