Boy oh boy, they're coming out with some really cool new versions of old favorites and here's one -- it's a cinnamon scented small jar candle and it's battery operated!
The jar candle is on the smaller side, about the size of a glass votive at 2 3/4 inches tall and about 2 inches in diameter. Inside the glass jar is a silicone tipped flicker flame battery candle surrounded by golden brown wax which is softly scented with cinnamon fragrance.
The candle runs on two CR2032 button batteries. It does indeed come with batteries already installed but it's been my experience that the batteries that come with these things usually don't last as long as new ones so it would be a good idea to plan on replacing the batteries soon. The good news is that these LED lights take very little power to run so a new card of batteries should last a fairly long time. There's a little white plastic stand on the bottom of the jar. That's where the door is to get to the batteries. You'll need one of those micro Philips screwdrivers to get in there to change the batteries.
I really like this little item but I see one potential flaw -- the switch is very delicate and there's not a whole lot to it, just a tiny piece of black plastic that's rather difficult for my fingers to grasp. I found it to be very helpful to turn this thing on and off with the tip of a toothpick.
