Here's a beauty -- this rusty metal colander is just about the same size as the ones we use in our kitchens, measuring about 12 inches in diameter and 5 1/2 inches deep.
The colander has a decorative cutout star design, solid handles and a great totally rusty finish as if it's been around a long long time. A very nice item for primitive and colonial decorating, the rusty colander comes new from JM Imports.
**Please note: there aren't any holes in the bottom of the colander so it wouldn't be able to drain anything anyway but please keep in mind that these imported rusty tin items are quick-rusted with chemicals and are likely not safe to be used with food. I'd suggest using this one for bowl fillers, fixins and the like OR lining it with a kitchen towel before placing anything edible into it.
