12mm (.47 of an inch) clear plastic starflake beads (also called paddle beads), great for hours of fun crafting projects. This color is called crystal which is virtually no color with no iridescence.
Starflake beads have a hole in the center with 6 faceted spokes or blades. When they're wired or strung, the paddles of one bead fit into the space between the paddles of the bead before it. An easy project is to string a bunch of these on a wire, twist the ends together and add a hanging loop to make a mini wreath ornament for the tree. Use plastic faceted beads or rondelles for spacers, mix colors and these have the potential for oodles of creative projects easy enough for kids to do.
