Great for primitive or colonial decorating, this molded resin barn star measures about 7 1/4 inches between the points. It has a black painted finish which is thin in places permitting the reddish undercoat to show through.
The star is dimensional on the front side only -- the flip side doesn't quite lie flat against the wall but it's close to flat. There's a hang hole in one point and it comes with a rag strip homespun loop.
At this smaller size, the star would be a goody for a cupboard door. It's just enough to make a bit of a primitive statement without being overwhelming. The black resin barn star comes new from The Hearthside Collection.
