New Twinklets Diamond Dust Glass Glitter for a multitude of uses on crafting projects and floral decorations. The granules are actually coarsely ground clear glass.
While the product is not powdery or at all sharp (it can be safely applied using your fingers) I still recommend caution if you have younglings (especially any little crawlers) around. The glass glitter does indeed resemble coarse salt or sugar and since the particles are small, its application can get a little messy and some could end up on the floor.
The total weight including the container is over 6 actual ounces, but in regards to volume, the glass glitter itself is measured at 3 dry ounces which is a little bit more than a half cup.
