Decorative dish cup for colonial and primitive decorating would be a good holder for a pillar candle, fixins or potpourri.
It's a smaller size at about 5 5/8-inches in diameter and an inch deep. The bowl has a very rustic finish. The outer coat is a golden brown (the manufacturer calls it mustard) which is thin, allowing much of the darker undercoat to show through.
The dish is molded from a resin compound and has a bit of a wooden feel to it. It's made for decorative use only and not intended for use with food. The best way that I've found to clean these resin compound pieces is with a damp cloth.
Please keep in mind that colors in photographs can vary when viewed on different systems. The lights I use for photography can sometimes throw off the true color or brightness too. The color on this one is a dark golden brown, darker than what I would consider to be mustard but a good rich color that would blend with other mustard items anyhoo.
