Very cute set of nesting or stacking boxes with snowmen on tags that can be displayed for the entire winter season. Painted paper mache cardboard boxes are unfinished inside. The main colors are deep red, black and dark tan. The edges of the boxes have been stained or highlighted to make them appear worn and aged.
The largest of the three boxes measures about 5 3/4 inches square. The medium box is roughly 4 3/4 inches square and the smallest box comes in at about 3 3/4 inches square. When stacked, the set measures about 14 1/2 inches tall.
This set of nesting boxes is new but is manufactured to look old and a bit worn. The painting isn't perfect and the paper mache underneath the paint is not perfectly smooth. But all in all these are fairly well done and are charming prim pieces. The set of nesting boxes comes new from The Hearthside Collection, designed by Barbara Lloyd.
