Glazed pottery candle jug is roughly the size of a large coffee mug at about 4 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest part (not including the handle.) The candle holder has a good solid heavy feel to it, very similar indeed to a thrown mug. There's a star cutout on the front which makes for a very attractive appearance when a votive candle is burned inside.
For safety, first place the votive in a burn safe container. The open mouth of the jug is about 2 3/4 inches in diameter which will accommodate an average size glass votive holder.
The finish on the jug is quite primitive and done in a somewhat mottled burgundy. We have several of these little jugs in stock. As with most pottery pieces, the finish on these varies slightly from item to item. While the overall style and color stays the same, the finish on the jug you receive might vary slightly from the one shown in our photo.
The votive candle jug comes new from KIP with a rag tie bow as shown, imported.
