Lovely three piece set of matching hand towels for the country primitive kitchen or bath.
The pieces aren't marked regarding the fabric content but the towels have a soft brushed feel and I'm fairly certain that they'd be 100% cotton or very close to it. Each towel measures about 26 by 14 1/2 inches and they have a rolled hem on all four edges.
The fabric is a woven homespun deep cherry red with golden tan. One of the things that I like about this set is that the embroidery was first done onto a band of tea-dyed colored muslin which was then sewn onto the towel. In other words, the embroidery does not show on the flip side of the towel.
The set comes with one of each saying -- Long Live Love, Love Lives Here and Love Laugh Live. The text is embroidered in black. On both sides of the text there's a little leafy vine design with red French knotted berries.
This set of three comes new from Blossom Bucket.
