This cute little fella advertises live bait -- he'd be a cute addition to a rustic north woods or lodge themed room.
The fish is cut from 5/8 thick wood. The edges of the fishy are shaped and tapered. The fish's flip side is flat and the front side is slightly carved out with little gouges which kinda look like fish scales. The fish is painted with three colors -- a greenish gray on the top, a pink salmon-y band along his middle and a golden yellow belly. The paint has been sanded off in some spots allowing the bare wood underneath to show through.
Slots cut into the wood on the fish's sides and tail allow for the attachment of his fluted rusty tin fins. He hangs from a length of loopy black wire with two miniature bobbins attached.
Overall measurements are approximately 12 inches long by 6 inches high (not including the wire hanger.) The fish plaque comes new with tag from KIP, imported.
