A great item with which to decorate a garden room or potting shed, this rusty tin spade with wooden handle measures 11 inches long and hangs from a rustic twine loop. The blade area measures about 5 by 3 inches so it's large enough if you would want to personalize the spade or paint something decorative on the blade.
The wooden handle is stained with a dark wash. The rusty area varies a bit from item to item so yours might appear slighting different than the one shown in our photo (some of them have blotchier rust, some are more streaky...) I think this spade would be a goodie to use as the basis of a crafting project as well -- maybe something like a little bunny face on the front of the spade or some sunflowers or other florals.
The rusty garden spade comes new from JM Imports, imported.
I should also mention that the spade is made for decorative purposes only, not for actual use. The tin is too thin and the blade isn't anchored well enough into the handle -- if the spade were actually used for digging it would likely bend or break off.
