Primitive Daisy Birdhouse Flower Wooden

This daisy birdhouse is a well-constructed prim piece, nice for indoor or outdoor decorating.
The daisy floral face of the birdhouse measures about 8" in diameter and the house is about 4 1/2 inches deep. The petals are cut from 1/2 inch plywood, the yellow center of the flower is cut from 3 1/6 inch plywood and the rear living quarters of the birdhouse is made from 3/4 inch thick pine. The perch is a square nail and the house hangs from heavy gauge wire (which will likely rust if the house is displayed outdoors.)
The petals are painted off-white and the center is a medium yellow. The entire house is aged with a dark brown stain.
This birdhouse does not appear to me either to be constructed of treated wood nor can I detect any protective coating so I'd suggest that if you're planning to use the birdhouse outdoors, either place it in an area where it is protected from rain and snow or finish it off with a few coats of a weather-resistant product, something perhaps like a clear acrylic spray. By the way, the living area of the birdhouse is sealed so there's no easy way to clean it out if a little birdie happens to nest in it.
