Awesome grungy taper candle with a silicone star for primitive decorating measures about 10 inches in total height. The base of the candle is made to fit a holder of about an inch in diameter.
The shaft is made from white plastic. It's been dipped in golden mustard colored wax then heavily grunged and has a gritty unevenly textured appearance. The bulb is an L.E.D. and flickers a soft golden yellow under the 3 1/4 by 4 inch flecked amber colored silicone star shaped cover. Neither the cover nor the bulb is removable so the bulb cannot be replaced but the good thing is that L.E.D. bulbs usually have a fairly long life and the candle is a nice decorative piece even if it didn't light up.
The candle uses three AA batteries which are NOT included. The bottom of the candle twists off and that's where the batteries go. This very cool battery operated taper candle with the silicone star comes new from The Hearthside Collection and is packaged as shown.
