Natural off-white colored cheesecloth for Halloween crafting comes in a 36" by 36" rolled up (and kinda wrinkled) square.
It looks like cheesecloth but to me it feels a bit different than the kind of cotton cheesecloth with which we're familiar. It's a very loose weave but it has a bit more body to it and doesn't drape quite as nicely as traditional kitchen-use cheesecloth. My best guess is that there's a bit of synthetic fiber in there due to the way it feels and also due to the uneven way in which the colored versions of this item unevenly picked up the dyes. I haven't tried it yet but I think that it would take to a coffee, tea or walnut ink stain well enough for primitive crafting projects. Overall, a decent product for Halloween crafting and decorating projects.
