Traditional wooden bead garland is great for Christmas trees and wreaths but can also be used as a lovely accent garland in a primitive decor the whole year through.
The garland is made up of alternating red and cranberry 14mm (about 1/2") wooden beads with a soft glossy finish. It measures about 9' long and the beads are strung onto synthetic cord that has a good strength to it. I can give it a hefty yank and it won't break but if it's cut, yep, those beads will roll all over the place!
A lot of crafters use these beads for needlework projects. Please know that the holes in these beads are not as large as wooden beads that are designed for macrame. A crochet needle will NOT fit through them. A yarn needle WILL fit through the hole but it's a tight squeeze. I'd guess that the holes are only about 2mm or 3mm in diameter. I counted 216 beads on the garland in the photo.
The garland comes new from Darice, packaged in cello with header card.
