Very cool item. This small metal planter pot measures about 4 3/4" tall and 4 3/8" in diameter at the upper lip. The finish on the planter appears extremely distressed with a blotchy areas of verdigris as if it's been subjected to the outside elements for years.
I'd advise against using this one as an actual planter -- for one thing there are no drainage holes but what would concern me more is what possible chemicals the manufacturer used on the metal to create the finish. Ack. But for primitive decorating it's a great little pot.
Yours may look a wee tad different from the one in the photo. The finish on these varies slightly from piece to piece. There are areas that are more or less rusty, some are more streaked, etc. The style stays the same though.
The little planter pot is a new item which was manufactured to appear very old and weathered. It comes new with tag from JM Imports. Made in China.
