This one's not for kitchen use -- the wire is wayyy too rusty! It makes a great little item for decorating though. :) The potato masher is just about the same size and style as one from grandma's kitchen. It's 8 1/4" tall and the wire at the base is about 4" across to permit to stand well on its own. The turned wooden handle was painted a grayed navy blue and then heavily sanded and stained to allow most of the underlying wood to show through. There's a navy and tan checked gingham bow through the hole in the handle to hang it if desired.
Delightfully rustic, the potato masher is a new item manufactured to appear very old and well-used. The masher comes new from KiP Creations, made in China.
