Rusty metal wire egg basket measures 8" in diameter at the top, 4 3/4" across at the base and it's about 6" deep. The basket has a rustic wooden and metal 4" swivel handle and should hang very nicely from an S-hook or a nail in a beam.
A word of caution -- this basket is genuinely rusty and will leave rusty residue where it sits so please keep that in mind when planning a place to display it. It WILL stain linens and countertops and such unless there's a protective barrier underneath it.
This is a new item manufactured to appear old and distressed -- a great addition to a primitive decorating scheme. The basket comes from JM Imports, made in China.
