Very cool. I'd have to leave something out on the deck for years to get it to look like this. ;)
Rusty metal cross weave basket measures 8 1/4" in diameter and it's about 2 1/2" deep. The basket has a 4" swivel handle and should hang very nicely from an S-hook or a nail in a beam. Sturdy wire looks to be about 16 gauge and should hold even heavier weight items well because the cross weave offers added strength.
A word of caution -- this basket is genuinely rusty and will leave rusty residue where it sits so please keep that in mind when planning a place to display it. It WILL stain linens and countertops and such unless there's a protective barrier underneath it.
This is a new item manufactured to appear old and distressed -- a great addition to a primitive decorating scheme. The basket comes from JM Imports, made in China.
