Metal crescent moon measures about 12" high. The center widest part of the moon measures 3 1/2" across. Since the shape is curved you'll need an area of about 12" by 8 1/2" to mount it. The moon is flat and the edges are crimped about 3/16" toward the back.
The moon is new but is finished to appear as if it's been around a while. There's a faux bluish green coating which resembles a patina of verdigris over which is another layer of a powdery looking rust. The piece has some bare and scratched areas which permits the steel underneath to show through.
There are hang holes in the points for ease in mounting. The crescent moon comes new without tags from JM Imports, made in China.
