Metal barn star measures a tad short of 16" between the points. It's got a cool dimensional open pocket on the front which can serve functionally (like holding mail) or simply make it decorative by filling it with drieds or berries. The back of the star is flat and the star will extend out about 3" from the surface to which it is mounted.
The star is new but is finished to appear as if it's been around a while. There's a faux bluish green coating which resembles a patina of verdigris over which is another layer of a powdery looking rust. The piece has some bare and scratched areas which permits the steel underneath to show through.
There are hang holes in the two side points for ease in mounting. The star comes new without tags from JM Imports, made in China.
