This Santa Claus candy cane orament is an import and yet it's individually handcrafted and detailed. I'm a big fan of made in America ornaments for my own tree but these were just too cute to pass up.
The Santa ornie measures 8" tall, is hand carved from lightweight wood and hangs by a jute twine loop. This particular Santa ornie style features a red and white candy cane twist body. The ornament has been sanded slightly to reveal some of the wood underneath the paint and then stained to create an old, distressed and primitive look.
We have several of this style in stock but each onament is just a tad different than the next. Each ornament is listed here separately so please know that the ornament shown in the photo is the exact same ornament which you will receive in your order.
Please note that this particular ornament has a mark above his brow -- it can be seen in the bottom photo below. It's simply a place where the stain dripped and it won't rub off (I tried.) It looks like a dirty smudge and I guess in actuality, a smudge is what it is but I don't think that it goes so far as to be a flaw due to the fact that the rest of the Santa ornament is aged and stained too! ;D
The Santa ornament comes new with tag from Darice. Imported, made in China.
