I'd be a big tangled mess without these. I use a lot of floss, not only for cross-stitch or regular embroidery projects, I also use shades of red and burgundy for doll hair and faces on some of my raggedies.
Each sturdy white lightweight cardboard bobbin holds a skein of embroidery floss neatly. The bobbins have pre-punched holes for ease in sliding onto a snap ring and slits cut into one side to hold the wound starting and ending threads. Great for organizing both colors and projects.
The bobbins come new in package as shown from Darice, 50 cardboard bobbins per package. (Great to wind crewel wool too!)
(If you really want to get organized, use these to wind your floss and get one of those clear plastic organizer boxes with the adjustable size compartments to keep them in.)
