Old Gold Resin Barn Star Primitive

This dimensional barn star has a good solid heavy wooden feel to it but I believe it's a molded resin or wood-resin compound. The star measures 15" between the points and hangs from a loop of torn homespun fabric.
The finish is very rustic -- there's an undercoat medium grayed brown over which the old gold was painted. The overcoat has been sanded away allowing some of the darker undercoat to show through.
A very nice piece for prim decorating, the barn star comes new with tag from The Hearthside Collection.
