Mini low-temp glue gun with trigger feed uses 5/16" dual temp glue sticks. No-drip nozzle and this one has a stationary stand built in (instead of those wire thing stands that seem to always pop out of the holes.) Now, just because it's low temp doesn't mean it's safe for kids. The nozzle still gets hot enough to cause burns and the glue heats up to 230 degrees. That's pretty darn hot. But it's not as hot as the high temp glue guns. I still have a few battle scars from encounters with hot melt glue guns. I prefer low melt when I can get away with it but there's simply some things that low melt won't bond as well as high melt.
Sorry for rambling, lol. My point is to use caution when using this product. With children around, pay extra attention to not just the glue gun but to hanging cords as well. Gotta keep them younglings safe. :)
