This pair of grungy primitive stocking ornaments measures about 8" tall. The stockings are sewn from a green and tan striped flannel print fabric and the stockings have berber fleece cuffs. The stockings have been heavily aged with a mix of walnut ink, vanilla and black stain then rubbed with kitchen spices and dried in the sun.
It's kinda hard to tell from the photo but the stockings are not attached to one another. Each stocking hangs separately from a loop made of jewelry hemp. The stockings are finished up with rusty bells sewn to the front seam with a jute twine bow around each bell.
